It has to be kept in mind that BMS never allows its total student
strength to go beyond a hundred and tries to keep a boy-girl ratio
of 50:50.
The
working ‘Terms’ are from August through November and
February through May. Admissions were ordinarily made only in
the Primary Section at age 6+ to 11+ with admission granted under
special circumstances to age 12+ children.
Registration
for admission is generally open from January 15 of each year with
the admitted students reporting to the school by July 28. Orientation
and Sensitivity activities commence from August 1.
The
students are not tested or interviewed for admission. However,
we do make it a point to ascertain that the students do not have
special needs that the school may not be in a position to support.
Details
of Admission, Forms and other relevant documents can be procured
from the school by making a non-refundable payment of Rs. 550.00
(Rupees Five Hundred Fifty only), per child. All payments to be
made by Account Payee Bank Draft only, favouring ‘The Blue
Mountains School, Ooty’ , payable at State Bank of India,
Ootacamund or any nationalised bank located at Ootacamund. Bank
charges, if any, will be recovered from the Student’s Personal
Account.
Cheques will not be
accepted.
